Best wishes from St. Croix Government Retirees, Inc. You are invited to join St.Croix Government Retirees on Friday, November 20, 2015 at the St. Croix Agriculture grounds, Upper Love from 1-5p.m. It is a free event for VI government retirees. The event will offer Retirees information, education, entertainment, refreshments, and local farm produce give-away. It is an opportunity to interact with the Administrator and leadership of the Government Employees Retirement System (GERS) and hear an end of the year report. From 2p.m. to 3 p.m. will be the distribution of bags to Retirees 65 age and over who are insured with United Health Care. The UHC ID card must be shown to receive a bag of local farm produce valued at $50.00. You will learn of the work and accomplishments of SCGR in representing Retirees and advocating for the perpetuity of GERS. Refreshments will be served, and Stanley and the Ten Sleepless Knights will provide music for you to enjoy and return home in good spirits. We look forward to seeing you. St. Croix Government Retirees meets monthly, on the third Tuesday from 1-3p.m. at Cast Iron Pot Restaurant in Princess.
