Good morning Retirees,

  At 12:45 p.m. yesterday, I received the following text from Senator Kurt Vialet

  the Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee.

  " Morning please be assured that I am working hard to protect health insurance for

    retirees. Will not allow dropping retirees or exorbitant increased."

  I thanked him and said his message would be shared with you.

  Continue to lobby all senators because Vialet is one vote. We need 8 votes to stop

  any change in the present distribution of the cost of health insurance which would

  positively be a decrease in Retirees' income.

  Many of you have relatives, friends, associates who reside outside of the territory.

  Contact them and insist that they register to vote in the Virgin Islands as an

  "Absentee voter". If the Virgin Islands provides your income, the VI is the place

  to make your voice matter. Retirees number 8000 plus. United we make a difference.
