< p>The St. Croix Government Retirees Inc. (SCGR) is a corporation organized under Section 501(c)(4) of the 1954 Internal Revenue Code of the Virgin I slands of the United States. The corporation is a non-profit\, non-sectari an\, non-partisan organization whose main purpose is to develop\, promote\ , coordinate\, and implement programs and activities designed to ensure th e perpetuity of the Government Employees Retirement System (GERS) for the benefit of the current employees and the retirees of the system.

Mem bership dues and donations directly and immediately support St. Croix Gove rnment Retirees Inc. through its legal battles\, educational forums\, and community service opportunities. We work to guarantee the next generation of retirees enjoy an annuity as we are.

The SCGR’s success is built on the foundation of the continued support of Retirees. I encourage you to show your support for the preservation of the GERS by encouraging V.I. go vernment retirees to become members of SCGR.
