The St. Croix Gov ernment Retirees Inc. (SCGR) is a corporation organized under Section 501( c)(4) of the 1954 Internal Revenue Code of the Virgin Islands of the Unite d States. The corporation is a non-profit\, non-sectarian\, non-partisan o rganization whose main purpose is to develop\, promote\, coordinate\, and implement programs and activities designed to ensure the perpetuity of the Government Employees Retirement System (GERS) for the benefit of the curr ent employees and the retirees of the system.
Membership dues and do nations directly and immediately support St. Croix Government Retirees Inc . through its legal battles\, educational forums\, and community service o pportunities. We work to guarantee the next generation of retirees enjoy a n annuity as we are.
